RISING STARS AAU BASKETBALL – PLAY WITH THE STARS!

The Rising stars AAU Program has become on of the dominant basketball programs in
the State of Illinois. Rising Stars knowledgeable and well respected staff transition into
the prime basketball season with their Winter Travel teams. Boys and Girls will play
competitively in 1-2 tournaments per month throughout Illinois and other Midwest cities.
Many of these tournaments are also held at the Joy of the Game Center, which will help
decrease the cost and time of travel.
The mission of Joy of the Game and Rising Stars is the development of their players on
and off of the court. Hopefully every athlete that's been involved in The Joy of the Game
Inc. programs at one time or another will ultimately realize that basketball/all sports are
tools to help each athlete to grow as players in their skills, but most of all as young adults
in the game of life.

Tryout Fee: $30 (When placed on a team, this will go toward total cost)

Tryout Times: Saturday October 16
Girls: 4th - 8th Grade: 1:00 - 2:00 PM
Boys: 3rd - 5th Grade: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
Boys: 6th - 8th Grade: 3:00 - 4:00 PM

Make up Tryouts:
Monday, October 18
7:00 - 8:00 PM (3rd - 6th Grade) Girls & Boys
8:00 - 9:00 PM (7th - 8th Grade) Girls & Boys

Rising Stars Uniform: $120

Practices: 2 practices per week and 1 night of skill training

Season: November 2010 - February 2011

Cost: $725 Includes 1 night of skill training & 2 practices per week Nov. - Feb.
