Donnell Thomas is the founder of Hoops By D-Train, L.L.C. and serves as a basketball coach and trainer throughout the Chicagoland Area. Thomas, who will coach the Rising Stars 14U Red team in the spring of 2012, was a standout player at Robeson High School of the Chicago Public League and at Northern Illinois University. Thomas then played 12 seasons of professional basketball over seas in the likes of Israel, New Zealand, Holland, Spain, Russia, Argentina and Portugal. Thomas was inducted into the Chicago Public League Hall of Fame in 2002 and just one year later, was inducted into the Northern Illinois University Athletic Hall of Fame as well. Thomas currently coaches Glenbrook South's 8th Grade Jr. Titans Feeder basketball team and also takes part in Joy Of The Game & Hi-Five's "THE LEAGUE."
