Coach Mladenovic played four sports at varsity level in high school (basketball, football, baseball, soccer), including four years of basketball at Stephen Tyng Mather High School in Chicago, averaging a triple-double his senior year with 26 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds. Coach Mladenovic was voted MVP of the Varsity basketball team his senior year and selected to the Chicago Public League All Star Team, went on to play collegiate level basketball in Europe and also played with UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) Flames as a sophomore but did not continue to play due to a coaching change. Coach Mladenovic returned to Mather High school to coach basketball for two years and has gone on to a 20 year career as a personal trainer and fitness coach with clientele ranging from 10 to 80 year olds. Coach Mladenovic is the coach for the 4th grade Rising Stars and has a son, Tommy, who plays in the Rising Stars program.
