    Coach John started his basketball coaching and training career assisting NBA basketball player, Ben Gordon, in all of his workouts in 2006. In 2007, Coach John started assisting Josh Oppenheimer from Excel Basketball in training several other NBA and pro players such as Kirk Hinrick, Luol Deng, Sonny Weems, Jon Scheyer, Andre Barrett, Demetri McCamey, Sean Singletary, Donnie McGrath and Eric Boeteng along with several other college and high school players. Coach John organized and coached Ben Gordon basketball camps for three years and was a volunteer assistant coach to the 2011 Rising Stars 14U team. Coach John enjoys showing players the meaning of team basketball, fundamentals and awareness of the game.
