Coach Feinzimer played his varsity basketball at Highland Park High School, scoring a career-high 31 points during a playoff game in his senior season. He was named All-Area Honorable Mention that same year. Feinzimer continued his career at Beloit College, a Division III program in Wisconsin. Coach Feinzimer was involved with Joy of the Game as early as his senior year at Highland Park High School in 1997, when he met with aspiring young athletes at the HPHS gym on weekends. More recently he is currently teaching and coaching the 7th grade team this year at Edgewood Middle School in Highland Park. During his first year at Edgewood in 2005, Feinzimer coached an extremely talented team that finished at the top of the league with an undefeated record. Coach Feinzimer has also been involved with Highland Park's feeder program going back to his college years in 2000 and 2001.
