Coach Henry was a two-year varsity basketball starter at Zion-Benton from 1997-1999, continued his playing career at Eastern Illinois University from 99-02 and ended by playing at Augustana College in South Dakota from 02-04, while attaining his B. A. in Business Administration. Coach Henry began his basketball coaching career at the feeder level in 2006-07 and 08-09 for the Zion-Benton Jr. Z-B's and his high school basketball coaching career as the head freshmen basketball coach in 2009 at Zion-Benton.
