Coach Geissler attended Stevenson High School and began her basketball career on an undefeated freshman level team, the second undefeated team in Stevenson history. The next three years she was a Varsity starter earning All-Conference, All-Area, and Honorable Mention All-State honors. Coach Geissler continued her basketball career at New York University where she played for one year and then chose to transfer to the University of Illinois, where she walked on to the team, but chose to focus on academics instead. She continued competing at the club basketball level, and went on to lead her team to winning the Club Basketball National Championship, earning All American honors. Coach Geissler has experience running clinics for 3rd and 4th grade girls, and will be coaching for Stevenson's feeder program this year.
