Deerfield Jr Warriors

The Deerfield Jr. Warriors feeder program is for any 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or 8th grade boy or 6th, 7th or 8th grade girl who resides in Bannockburn, Deerfield, Highland Park or Riverwoods that plans on attending Deerfield High School. The Jr. Warriors program will follow the Deerfield High School Basketball philosophy and will impart that knowledge to all players. The Deerfield High School Basketball program believes that all players, no matter what their talent level is, should demonstrate good character, morals, family values and solid academics.

The program will have a strong emphasis on skill development. All Jr. Warriors players will learn man to man defense, motion offense, extensive skill training and learn the terminology of the Deerfield High School Basketball program. By the end of this program you will see improvement in your child’s basketball IQ (knowledge of the game), basketball fundamentals and skill set, as well as a better knowledge of the Deerfield basketball system.
