Coming in June....
May 17, 2021
With the announcement by the Governor on Friday, May 14th, North Shore Sports and Wellness is going to amend our current policies and practices, as they relate to wearing masks in our facilities. The following policies and practices will be in place at both the Berto Center in Deerfield, and the Athletico Center in Northbrook.
Starting Monday, May 17th, all coaches that have been fully vaccinated will be able to enter and coach without masks, SO LONG AS WE HAVE PROOF OF THE VACCINATION. We are going to ask club leaders to gather photos that clearly show that coaches have been vaccinated and then send those photos to us so that we can maintain a record on site. If NSSW does NOT have record and documentation of vaccinations, coaches will have to continue wearing masks.
In terms of players wearing masks….
So long as a full team has been vaccinated, and the club sends us documentation and evidence (photos) of these vaccinations, then the team can play without masks. If a single player, though, on a team is not fully vaccinated, the entire team must play in masks. It is very much going to be an all or nothing thing, as it relates to players. Once a full team demonstrates to the club that they have all been vaccinated, the club will send NSSW that information, and we will record it and keep record of it, and those teams will be allowed to play without masks.
We understand that these policies may be different than club policies and practices, but this is where we are now. We will post updated tournament protocols once we come to some conclusions on tournaments, parents, fans, and tournament staff.
Feel free to contact us with questions at either The Berto Center or The Athletico Center, please contact us by phone at 847.828.4650 (Berto), or 224.326.2061 (Athletico), or email us email@example.com.
