Our High School Fall Exposure League gives players an opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season with their teammates in a competitive environment. It is also an opportunity for players to gain exposure to the Division II, III and NAIA college coaches who attend league play.
We have already had coaches from University of Wisconsin - Platteville, St. Norbert College, Lake Forest College, Marian, Knox College, Carroll College, Cornell College (IA) and Benedictine College all come check out the High School Fall Exposure League this season. The league will also be covered by local basketball media including Scout.com, Bulls Prep-Eye, City / Suburban Hoops Report, IL Hoop Insider and ESPN Chicago.
Check out a mix tape video HERE of some of the amazing action that is going on every weekend here at Joy of the Game!
This year’s league attracted players from over 30 high schools from throughout the Chicago area including North Chicago, Waukegan, Glenbrook North, Grayslake Central, Zion, Lake Forest, Maine South, Warren and New Trier High Schools. The league has two divisions, one for Varsity teams (no coach) and one for Sophomore teams (Joy of the Game coach). Games are 40 minutes in length and officiated by IHSA referees. Individual players are welcome but must attend an evaluation session.
As a special bonus to all of our athletes participating in the JG High School Fall Exposure League, we have arranged for NCSA to be on-site 10/23/11 for the HS Fall Exposure League Playoffs to help players with their college recruiting process.
