Rising Stars

The Rising Stars teams will practice twice a week at the JG Sports Center, where there are four courts (3 top of the line wood courts). All team practices are high-level practices run by our professional coaching staff. All practices will be with game-time intensity, so that our teams are properly prepared for tournament play.

Rising Stars teams will compete in 6 quality tournaments against the best competition in the Midwest, so players and teams are continually challenged to improve. The tournaments are local or regional tournaments such as The Chicago Spring Classic, GRBA (Gym Rat Basketball Association Regional Qualifier-formerly USSSA), Best Buy Chicago Classic, The Real-AAU District Qualifiers & Super Regionals. These tournaments will give all Rising Stars Teams the opportunity to play in GRBA Nationals (Div-I, Div-II), and The Real AAU Nationals (Div-I, Div-II, or Div-III). In 2011, Rising Stars Teams had 25 National qualifying teams. Rising Stars has taken numerous teams to these National Tournaments, where Rising Stars have placed or finished near the top on a yearly basis.

Our players and teams are continually challenged to improve. The mission of Joy of the Game and Rising Stars is the development of our players both on and off the court.
