Welcome to the Rising Stars Basketball Club, located at the Joy of the Game Center in Deerfield,IL, established in 1994. We are proud of our reputation as being the premier AAU travel basketball program in the Midwest. We offer basketball training programs and travel teams for boys and girls from 8 to 18 years old. Rising Stars has had more than 150 players in the last eight years move on to play college basketball. The Rising Stars teams will practice twice a week at the JG Sports Center, where there are four courts (three top of the line wood courts). All team practices are high-level practices run by our professional coaching staff. All practices will be with game-time intensity, so that our teams are properly prepared for tournament play. Rising Stars teams will compete in four quality tournaments against the best competition, at their skill level, in the northern Illinois area. Teams desiring more than one tournament per month will be offered the option to compete in more tournaments (see below). Our players and teams are continually challenged to improve. The mission of Joy of the Game and Rising Stars is the development of our players both on and off of the court.

Tryout Fee Cost :
$30 (When placed on a team, this will go toward total cost)
Other :
Winter season runs from Nov. 2011 to Feb. 2012
Team fees will be $900 (with new uniform)/$800 (if you already have your white/black uniform set) and will include:
• One (1) night of skill training; two (2) practices per week (skills training sessions are generally scheduled before or after a team practice)
• Minimum of four (4) total tournaments; one (1) tournament per month
• Uniform (dri-fit moisture management spandex game uniform), long sleeve shooting shirt & travel bag
Extra costs: TBD (generally $35 - $50 extra per tournament):
• 2nd tournament per month (if the team wants more playing opportunities).
• Additional League Play.
At the tryouts, an information sheet will be available which lists the practice and skill night schedules and tentative tournament schedules.
